Every project follows a clear, collaborative framework — designed to eliminate guesswork, build trust, and deliver work that's considered at every stage. Two distinct tracks, each tailored to the discipline.

Brand & Visual Identity
01 — Discovery
Brand Brief & Audit
We begin with a deep-dive into your business — your audience, competitors, values and ambitions. Existing brand materials are reviewed and a clear creative brief is established.
02 — Strategy
Positioning & Direction
A brand positioning document defines your tone of voice, visual language direction and strategic differentiation. Two or three distinct creative directions are explored and presented.
03 — Design
Identity Design
Logo marks, wordmarks, colour palettes, typography systems and visual language are developed. Each element is refined through structured rounds of feedback until the system feels complete and consistent.
04 — Production
Collateral & Rollout
The approved identity is applied across all touchpoints — stationery, signage, print, digital templates and social assets — all production-ready and packaged for immediate use.
05 — Handoff
Brand Guidelines & Assets
A comprehensive brand guidelines document is delivered alongside all source files, font licences and export packages — everything needed to maintain the brand independently.
Web Design & Development
01 — Discovery
Goals & Scope
We map out your business objectives, target audience, site structure and technical requirements. A detailed scope document and project timeline are agreed before any design begins.
02 — UX Strategy
Wireframes & Architecture
Sitemap, user flows and low-fidelity wireframes establish structure and hierarchy before any visual decisions are made. Content strategy and copywriting direction are defined at this stage.
03 — UI Design
Visual Design & Prototyping
High-fidelity page designs are crafted in Figma — typography, colour, layout, component library and interaction states. A clickable prototype is shared for review before development begins.
04 — Development
Build & Integration
The approved designs are built into a fully responsive, performant website. Micro-interactions, animations, CMS integration and third-party tools are wired up and rigorously tested across devices.
05 — Launch
QA, Launch & Handoff
Final QA, performance checks and SEO foundation are completed. The site goes live, and a full handoff session ensures you're confident managing and updating everything independently.

Design is howI think.

I'm Ian Fraser — a brand and digital designer based in Vancouver, Canada, working with businesses that care about how they present themselves to the world. I specialise in building brands from the ground up and translating them into considered digital experiences.

With over eight years in the industry, I've worked across retail, hospitality, technology, and the built environment — bringing the same level of rigour and creative intent to every project regardless of scale.
