Project Overview
Obsidian Maison is a brand identity project aimed to develop a strong cohesive identity along with effective marketing materials. Catering to individuals interested in bespoke interior design, the design concept embodies modern sustainability with natural elements and a purple and off white colour palette. Using the fields font for a clean aesthetic, the project ensured consistency across all materials using Illustrator and Photoshop. Key decisions, such as a Sans Serif logo paired with an icon inspired by the element obsidian effectively communicated the brand's identity. Aligning design choices with objectives, Obsidian Maison showcases its skills in design thinking and problem-solving.

Brand Identity

The objectives of this project were to design a unique brand identity for a bespoke interior design brand and create effective marketing materials. Obsidian Maison appeals to individuals who want to elevate their living space through thoughtfully curated bespoke designs.

The design concept of Obsidian Maison represents a modern approach to sustainable living, utilizing modern and natural elements to reflect the design of the brand. The colour palette uses purples and off whites to convey a luxury vibe, aligning with the brand's focus on curated interiors. The font fields helps defines the brand's modern aesthetic. By integrating these elements consistently across all materials, Obsidian Maison establishes a cohesive and visually compelling brand identity.

The process involves developing a brand identity, website design, and creating marketing assets to effectively communicate the brand's message. Organic poly shapes, modern colour palette and typography, consideration of the target audience, and utilization of Illustrator, Photoshop and Figma were key design decisions made to align with the project objectives and effectively convey the brand's identity and values.

The design decisions implemented for Obsidian Maison were effective by establishing a cohesive redesigned brand identity, and communicating the brands luxury feeling.
